Financial Charges

Office visits etc. are not covered by OHIP but extended medical benefits will often reimburse financial charges for consultations, treatments, orthotics, orthotic footwear etc.

Private insurance companies often cover parts or all financial charges of a chiropodist ie) SunLife; Great West Life; Manual Life; Johnson Brothers; Coughlin etc; Green Shield.

Examples of insurances that require a written referral from your physician include: Veterans Affairs, First Nations – Health Canada and WSIB.
